Supporting our local communities

Coming together in the fight against COVID-19

From the earliest days of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been working tirelessly to support our local communities as they struggle to manage the impacts of this deadly disease. We immediately ramped up production of Tyvek® for protective apparel and in April 2020, we launched the #TyvekTogether program, making available a limited-release Tyvek® fabric—Tyvek® 1222A—to help increase the overall supply of Tyvek® to the front lines.

During the height of the personal protective equipment (PPE) shortage in 2020, we donated more than 148,000 Tyvek® protective coveralls to local hospitals in our global communities. And along with our partners, we have now produced more than 100 million PPE garments and counting—providing healthcare workers and first responders with the protection they need.
