Tyvek® Cargo Covers will be exhibited at Temperature Controlled Logistics Summit

DuPont Protection Solutions is pleased to sponsor and exhibit at the 16th Annual Temperature Controlled Logistics Summit which is taking place at the ExCel centre in London from the 30th January - 2nd February, 2017.

This year’s event will be focused on the latest innovations in the pharma-logistics supply chain and on how the sector is addressing some of its biggest challenges including temperature control, product traceability, multimodal solutions, emerging markets and GDP compliance. Everyone involved in the complicated process of temperature-controlled logistics will find insights, tool and inspiration at the event.

The team from DuPont™ Protection Solutions will be the Tyvek® range of cargo covers including the new Tyvek® Xtreme™ W50 Cargo Cover which bridges the gap between single-skin covers and bulky thermal blankets. This latest addition to the Tyvek® family of cargo covers is fitted with a proprietary insulative layer while retaining all the reflective and permeability characteristics of the standard Tyvek® product. This extends both its hot and cold temperature performance span and provides a lightweight, low bulk, cargo cover which can be used in CRT categories where there is a need for frost as well as heat protection.

Rapid temperature spikes that can occur during freight operations have the potential to create unwelcome humidity levels which can be detrimental to many medical products and to packaging and labelling. All DuPont™ Tyvek® Cargo Covers offer both thermal protection and moisture control and these twin properties help to ensure that valuable pharma products can get to patients in a safe condition.
