DuPont to convene Forum on Food & Agriculture Innovations at Expo Milano 2015
DuPont, a science company that brings world-class, innovative products, materials and services to the global marketplace, today announced the details of their Forum on Food & Agriculture: Rural and Urban Innovations to be hosted at Expo Milano 2015 on May 19th, 2015.
The event will include a keynote address by James C. Borel, DuPont Executive Vice President, and a panel of experts such as Robin Bew, Managing Director with the Economist Intelligence Unit, Rikin Gandhi, CEO of Digital Green and other representatives from government and leading NGOs. The panel will be moderated by Adam Shaw, business journalist, to host a thought-provoking conversation about food security, innovative technologies, processes, and approaches, and the impact of programs and policies on the world’s ability to feed itself now and in the future.
The Forum will also feature a special report from the Economist Intelligence Unit on its refreshed Global Food Security Index (GFSI), a dynamic tool sponsored by DuPont that considers the core issues of affordability, availability and quality across a set of 109 countries.
